Ahhh I finally got these two done
these guys are Laella "Mouse" Belchbile and Jarvis Rutherford Belchbile my musona Rodent's parents
Jarvis is a very strict and authoritative character, everything is done his way or you get your ass handed to you. He's a proud scarer and worked for Monsters Inc for several years and even managed to break the scaring record (though he lost his title to his cousin Abigail Hardscrabble)
Laella is a very gentle monster woman who is very quiet, hence how she got her nickname Mouse, which later she uses this nickname to help name her daughter Rodent. Laella met Jarvis when they where in college and they got married shorty after graduating. She was a stay at home mother due to Jarvis not wanting to put her in harms way (she majored in scaring but she never became a scarer) but it turns out that even staying home can be dangerous as a mysterious illness took Laella's life shortly after Rodent was born (Rodent was only two weeks old at the time)
Jarvis was devastated by the loss of his wife but he never properly dealt with his emotions which is why he's a very bitter and aggressive man, he never let Rodent have any male friends and would sometimes even drive away her female friends. He wanted to make sure nothing ever happened to his daughter but when she wanted to go off to college he really couldn't stop her.
Jarvis stopped being a scarer not long after his wife's death and currently he is teaching scaring at Fear Tech.
I'm pretty happy with how these two turned out ;u;
oh and yes Jarvis can use that hand tail as a third arm, much like Rodent's tongue arm (same function different location kinda thing aha)
