I missed your post, sorry! Yeah, 517 of this trim and color made. Source if you're interested about yours http://public.tableausoftware.com/v.....ctionNumbers#1 I was torn between the wagon and the sedan, and this one popped up and made sense. Haven't had a sedan in close to five years, I'm liking it.
Wow, according to this chart only 75 were made like mine. I have a Limited 2005 Satin White Pearl Wagon with the Black interior non-turbo. A customer at my work had a 05 SWP Wagon 2.5GT with the 5 speed manual... I so was hunting for them to ask them to sell it to me haha. I'll be getting a 2.5GT just gotta wait for the right one to come in on trade. I work for a Subaru dealership so I look at em all day long. I'd like to try a hand at having a sedan too, I've always had wagons but I just really have been loving the Limited trim of Subaru... my Legacy has now spoiled me haha.
Yeah that is an unfortunate thing that comes with those sedans. At my work we have a blue 2.5GT that's the automatic with SI Drive haha. It's dumb how much money the 4th gen are worth. trade in book for my car is like $9,500, for a 2004 Legacy Limited it's $6,500 and a 2010 Legacy Limited is like $10,000. The 4th gen bodies are just worth more for some reason. I like 5th gen (facelift) a fair amount, but only as a good reliable car, they're really not performance machines unfortunately. the 2015 Legacy will hopefully help change the Legacy... back into a Legacy, and hopefully return to 4th generation roots.
Rumor has it the 2.0L twin scroll turbo might replace the 3.6R

Hell yeah tell me about it! There is such a lack in performance wagons right now honestly. Unfortunately we're having a hard time moving BRZ and STI at the moment, so I'd think Subaru is going to be a little hesitant in producing more of a performance car. So many customers I talk too just refuse to buy the premium gas.
Yeah, but depending on the car it doesn't matter. Two of my co workers are rocking BRZ. One is supercharged putting out about 260 horsepower he's averaging 28mpg. My other co worker has a stock one and he's getting like 34mpg. I had a customer buy a Forester XT 2014 2.0L and it's getting like 28mpg overall. Just all depends on the efficiency of the engine :3
