Well, I know you didn't DESIGN the Mangekyo concept. It's from Naruto. Though I don't remember seeing that particular shape of Mangekyo. I thought you had invented it yourself.
But again, I would still consider designing your own keyblade. It keeps with the spirit of the weapons, in that each one is tailored in shape and ability to its wielder. Even if you're using concepts from other sources, you can still have fun with it and make it your own in some way. It's the same thing I tell people that have OCs with Ichigo's Zangetsu or Inuyasha's Tetsusaiga. You can work within the world to create something unique to your character.
For example, when I was fussing around with stuff like this, I created a keyblade called Imagination. The keychain is an inkwell, the hilt is shaped like a rapier with a black handle and a glass-dome knuckle-guard, and the blade is black and has several tumbler-picks in off-shooting directions, with the tip ending like the nib of an ink-pen. When swung, it left a black, fluid-like trail. This was because the character attached to the blade was a traveling poet.
So what would your keyblade say about you? Think about it.
