It was winter time in the forest, which meant food was scarce for most animals

Including a chipmunk named DC.

"Stupid winter," he said cold and hungry "Whats a chipmunk gotta do to find some food around here?"

The little woodland creatures stomach growled, upset at being so empty

Yet that would soon be the least of his problems as it began to snow

"Uh oh," DC said sensing a blizzard was on the way

With that he went to find shelter

After a bit of searching DC came upon a cave

At first he was hesitant to go in, such a place would surely b home to some larger predator

Yet that was before he smelled the scent. The intoxicating aroma of delicious berries and nuts

"HUH!" DC gasped, overtaken by the delicious food inside

The chipmunk enter the cave, and low and behold there it all was. Nuts and berries galore

"Oh," DC said tears of joy forming in his eyes as he jumped in an began to eat it all

In no time he was tubby and full

"Ah," he said rubbing his fat gut "That was the best meal I've had in a while,"

"That was my meal!" a voice said

DC looked over to see a a red and white husky

"Who..." Dc said "Who are you?"

"I'm Rose," the husky said "And you just ate my food. Do you have any idea how long it took to gather all that?"

DC shook his head, worried.

"Well now I have nothing to eat," Rose said "Except..."

"Except?" DC said

"YOU!" Rose said opening her maw and swallowing the chipmunk whole

"Mmmmm," Rose said "He tasted much better than berries and nuts,"

Inside her, DC fought and kicked to freed. Yet it was no use, he was doomed

Rose went to sleep, happily filled with a stuffed chipmunk
