One of my favorite Caribou arts was this unique Steampunk Moth: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/8127629/
I was so impressed by how she constructed this beautiful and dangerious insect lady, I was inspired to ask Bou to do it again for my final Homecon commission. The result: The Steam Bee! A sort of companion piece to the original, with a Bee character from the same world, and the same style.
Specifically she's a Bumble Bee, the big fuzzy kind that's both awesome, adorable and terrifying when its buzzing near you. Her four arms and four blasters was all Bou's inspiration. We discussed her origins as a sort of Steampunk pirate, possibly a rogue Queen Bee, flying a ship also called the Queen Bee, and the name Belinda.
