I love the sunglasses! Always wondered how'd they work on a hammerhead...

And a terrific pose with a hot lady to boot! Reading Jaws is a nice touch. ;)

Actually I got inspired for the design of the sunglasses by Cxulubcah and based them on the over the ear style Sony headphones I've had for my portable CD player. I figured a pair of clip on lenses that rested on the head and hung over the eyes with a loop around the neck would be the best possible solution for hammerhead eyewear. Believe me, this wasn't half as challenging as coming up with a workable idea for sperm whale eyewear. I still don't have a good idea for that yet.

As for Jaws, I figure it would either be like reading a really steamy novel or racist propoganda. I'm not sure which she'd take it as.

The recent pictures involving Heather clearly gave me an answer for the big question I had since I have a fursona: how a specimen without ears could wear glasses?

For my anthro orca character Jyan, I always thought about some kind of headset that would fit along the base of the melon with a soft material (rubber, latex), and clipped behind the head with something similar to neckband headphones.

I wonder if she reads as well as a human. I mean, the eyes aren't focused forward..unless they're slightly curved, instead of being set parallel to each other :p

Maybe use suction cups?

I dig the design of her sunglasses too. I wonder what an anthro hammerhead's vision would be like though. They'd obviously have good peripheral/side vision, but would they be able to focus as well frontwards too?

With Heather, I've tried to angle the sides of the 'hammer' inward a bit to give her some forward vision. She'd probably have a blind spot somewhere close to her snout though but hopefully not far enough out that she couldn't actually read.

I was wondering about that, since it did look like her eyes were angled in a bit. It's certainly an interesting thing to think about, and a fun challenge to make certain species anthropomorphic.
