I know it's a human but whatever; I put a lot of thought into the tattoos and his ass totally looks fabulous in those jeans.
The arrows, depending on which runes you’re reading (Viking, Wiccan, witch, etc), mean Warrior or Male Energy.
The snowflake-y looking ones are the Helm of Awe, which offers protection in battle.
The mark just above his collar bone is a Witches Knot and it’s used to not only enhance ones own witchcraft, but to protect against it.
The writing on his collar bone are Viking runes for The Self, Protection, Defense, Strength, and Growth. In Wiccan, the mark for Growth is also Fertility and there’s a different meaning for Defence and Strength, but I can’t remember them now.
Below that are the elemental symbols for Water, Fire, Earth, and Air. I forget what the three dots meant.
The blue going from his neck onto his shoulders represents spirit guides and enhancement of the marks for Alchemy.
Next are Celtic Knots which don’t technically have any magic value, but they are knots with no end (symbolizing infinity).
The grey tattoos are inspired by those of North American native tribes; the one on his right arm features the lunar cycle, which in many cultures is believed to grant and/or enhance both magic and healing powers, and also dictates when it is easier to contact Elder Spirits, and a triskele. Triskeles are usually a stylized representation of three interconnected human arms or legs and they represent, well, groups of three, such as birth, life, death or mother, father, child. Triangles are often symbols of durability, structure, strength, and resistance to time.
Further down, on both wrists, is the symbol for healing.
As for the piercings they’re mostly there to look cool, but silver is favoured in defending oneself against and killing demons, poltergeists, and of course werewolves. As for the ring, well, gold is considered a symbol of wealth, power, and health.
