It was so wrong to push away.

I really hate how things went,
Was it really time well spent?

I realize right now, this searing pain,
Hearing it loud inside of my brain.

But now im going straight ahead,
With None by my side and pain in my stead.

And hoped to God we never would part.

You toppled a King with Queen and a Pawn,
Checkmate, prolonged for way to long.

The table is empty the timer has stilled,
Pieces all scattered, dead and killed.

This game is now over, its dead and done,
Ask yourself now: Who really has Won?

The one who went on to play with a heart,
Or one who lay dead, struck down by a dart.

Love always had a poisonous sting,
In the hands of a devious thing.

In the end, this Game is done,
Battle I've Lost, but War I have Won.
