#18 demonstrates that the shapeshifter trait exists and is recessive. Further, while technically both subjects were only shape mimics, the fusion demonstrated limited color changing ability, possibly another recessive trait. However, progress was severely held up while he spent over six hours shifting all the shapes.
Conclusion: My dissertation is going to rule.

Hah, these fusions always turn out kinda crazy looking...keep in mind I mean this in the best way. Good crazy and all that. XD Spontaneity always gives some fun ideas. I have trouble being spontaneous artwork-wise sometimes.

I'm slightly surprised to see #18 without a tail, but I'm sure he's had multiple varieties of spinal arrangements over those six hours. Hex better keep an eye on that one, he might be hard to keep track of :P
