A rather uneventful pic has Roland leaning against a lamppost, distracted from looking over his shoulder by a passing city bus.

One of my themes is "moment in time", in that I envision one or more of my characters in the midst of some mundane activity, and I pick a moment from the visual as a subject for a drawing. For that reason, many of my standalone pics don't feature the character posing for the viewer. Indeed, in most cases they don't appear to know they are being observed.

The title comes from the Ashford & Simpson tune "Street Corner". After looking up the lyrics to verify the title, I'd also have to say this pic has little to do with the song, though 9_9

Real items: the NYC Transit CNG-powered bus, and the Air Force 1 basketball shoes (a limited-edition (as in 'twice the normal price' ) patent-leather version)
