i got the impression it was probably a style choice, especially since some of the other feline suits on their website's gallery seem to have the more typical cat shapes. i don't think the ears strike me as canine, but the nose shape does a bit, as it does with a few of the recent feline suits. but i don't know what has been discussed with commissioners. whatever the case it looks great anyway, and clearly resembles a king cheetah overall.
