Yeah, that might help you expand him as a character as well, because as we grow up in real life, our personalities, knowledge, and interest expand, making us into more interesting individuals. The same would be true of fictional characters as well. But if you want him to remain as a babyfur, I can see why.
There are no elderfur groups but on second thought, saying that you would live long ago to gain a "crown of glory" may be asking too much. Though if you held a wish to live a long time and would like to see your fursona as being elderly, maybe it's a group whose time has come.
