I think it is, and I remember wanting the first AC game when it came out on the Gamecube in 2002. I never did get it or the Gamecube itself, but a couple years ago I decided to grab Wild World since I found it for about $14 and one of my friends always sperged about it. They can be a little repetitive but there are a lot of new things in New Leaf that weren't in Wild World and so far I'm having a lot of fun. A lot of other people are really liking it and it has gotten some pretty good ratings, so why not try it?
From what I've seen Nintendo is pretty good at tossing out a bunch of good first party games for their systems. It's really just a matter of time. I usually don't buy systems until it gets games I'm interested in though, and thankfully this year will do well for the 3DS at the very least, what with New Leaf, the OoT remake, and X/Y coming out, and so on. Glad I got mine when I did.
Pokemon was nice. As I said, regular games like that worked well. I am just not sure whether I want to buy a 3DS and one of the new Pokemans games. I played Black and it was pretty disappointing :T
Oh also, remember that phone I wanted to sell? The whole thing lasted less than 15 minutes, I sold it for 170 bucks. PROFITZ!

I really liked gen 5. It's not my favorite, but compared to the original gen 4 (D/P/Pt) it was far from disappointing. I had a really hard time liking gen 4. :I Gen 6 looks like a lot of fun and the new pokemon designs look really neat. I'm excited.
Also I wish I got that kind of money. Getting business is like pulling teeth.

The game itself was pretty good, no doubt about that. I just beat it really quickly and after beating the elite four and N I just didn't feel like playing it anymore :T The other Pokemon games I played managed to keep me going though.
Well, it was an investment and kind of a risk. But it was definitely worth it now :3
