I do love character development. Knowing yours does have both a baby and adult form means you have lots of fun places to show how he grows and interacts through the years.
My character has a variety of age points. All of which have been inspired by the different artists and writers I've met here. May you have lots of fun developing Cuddle Hooves. :)
As for the art itself, there is a style about it that reminds me of what could be seen as an old print. The way the colors seem "faded" while having just that right blend definitely make this portrayal of Cuddle a memorable one.
Perhaps this image itself could be used in a place like Appleoosia? Has a nice look for a Western poster and/or early 20th century poster.
