Okay now you can have a little bit of my headcanon for Smiget. She was created in a lab but was somehow formed imperfectly. She is missing some crucial component on a molecular level, and must return to the lab periodically to receive some sort of injection. Without it she begins to deteriorate, starting with the tissue in her brain. Her organs fail & skin begins sloughing off, followed by muscle & eventually entire limbs. This gives me an excuse to draw her all nasty & zombified & other such fun scenarios. Maybe whatever deficiency she has is what caused her albinism. I dunno. Don't really wanna type anymore but I was really excited about this when I started.
