If you put in this way... then they both did wrong. But the main fault is of Ammon that forgot to tell Ruze to lock the angle again.

Well, he did everything he was told, when Ammon told him to hurry up he didn't mention lock it in place so Ruze "missed" it, think Ammon is the one getting the blame on this one where ever that cannon ball lands.
