This was an experiment for me. One, to draw something in an opposite-facing direction (I almost always doodle things looking/facing left, time to give right a shot). Two, to draw something familiar as an interpretation. I love seeing how some artists interpret favorite cartoon characters/etc. in their own ways, and I wanted to try it for myself. Needless to say I think this has to be one of my personal favorites. I might lack in technical finesse or skill but I sure as hell had fun with it!
