(Firstly, I'm enraged because I didn't think of the gag in your comment's title first.)
Secondly, while Westersloe Winterbough V is a hot-blooded, sharp-tongued little tough guy, and ordinarily his mouth would have gotten him in huge trouble, the High Bishop isn't exactly in the Marshal's good books, either. Were it not for that fact, your point would be squarely on point and WW5 squarely on a rack.
