Hehe, Star Wars pieces for the wing! Er, win! Loved working on this, and love how it turned out! Was hella fun to do what with all the shading and colours and fun stuff. I'm really happy with the poses.

yeah, the lightsaber blade is pure white (or black in the case of the black crystal from The Force Unleashed 1 and 2) and the colour is merely a glow around the edge, not that' there's an issue with how you did them, as the comment below states you can tell what that are, i'm just sharing my $0.02
At least you could tell what they were, right? I knew the instant I saw them what they were. Just because they don't look exactly the way you think they should, doesn't mean they don't look 'right'. I think she did a fantastic job! I'm a Star Wars nerd too, and I can't draw Lightsabers 'right' either, by my own standards. I understand the THEORY behind it, I just can't quite make it work the way I want. But the important thing is:
They're Anthros wielding Lightsabers yo! It doesn't get much more epic than that!

I've read/watched so many tutorials, and they're awesome! But I have never been able to duplicate them to me satisfaction. It's quite frustrating. I am rather proud of the way the Lightsabers turned out in my most recent pic with lit Lightsabers...I've drawn a few in the past, but they were crap, and I drew a pic with the sabers on the belt, cause otherwise the creepy effect I was going for wouldn't have worked. LOL I'm rambling....and I'm glad I didn't offend you. I have a tendency to be rather blunt and abrassive...at least online.
