Although he cannot see, he can still defend himself with is long sword.

He lives in the mountains that border the kingdom.

He meets Alice much later in the story. That will come later.

Although his appearance frightens many, he is benevolent in all of his ways.

His albinism has not caused a stir with the other dwellers because to them his blindness is his punishment. Therefore he is an outcast in the forest community. Ironically, he is summoned to defend the village from trespassers.
