A personal/sentimental fursuit project of Dutchess, a tuxedo cat I had while growing up.
She will be my ONLY full suit.
We got Dutchess as a kitten, and had her for almost 10 years. Along with her, we had a total of five cats, among those cats, Dutchess was my special girl. When I was sick, sad, or afraid, she would be right there with me, and would never leave my side...
When I was in my late teens, my mother had given her to a new home without me knowing...I later found out...I was safe to say, devastated..
I actually teared up a few times while working on this suit as a thought hit me...this will probably be the closest I'll ever get to seeing my girl again...
As sad as that may be, Dutchess will always be a happy memory, which is why I was more than thrilled to make this suit.
