Tasha grinned down at her little 'yena boy, cuddled snug against her body. The arm and thigh wrapped around him were each thicker than his shoulders, but he hugged them close with absolute trust.
"Heh heh... You cute little scamp. It wasn't too long ago you could get away with just sleeping next to me, but even when I take up the whole bed-" she wiggled her ankles, feeling her paws swish through open air, "-and then some, you find a way to make do."
With a great deal of caution, Tasha leaned her head down on her shoulder. The sagging mattress underneath groaned in ominous warning, its abused springs crushed out of shape and the solid metal frame bending to sharp right angles.
"*Sigh*... This bed isn't gonna last the week, no matter how careful I am with it. Heck, I'm starting to wonder if it's gonna last the night."
As if attempting to offer an impartial surrender, the bottom supports weakly 'tink'ed against the wooden floor.
"Hah! Guess we're going bed shopping again soon. Who knows, maybe this time I can find one that'll last more than a month?"
*Creeeeeeeaaaaaaak*
"Yeah, yeah. I know it's not happening, but it'd be a nice change! Oh well. Sleep tight, little 'yena boy. I'm gonna keep you busy tomorrow, heh heh heh..."
Alex sleepily buried his face in his pillows of choice- Tasha's much-more-than-pillow-sized chest- and snoozed away with a grin.
bobert once again draws us a magnificent Tasha, being too big for her surroundings in a way only she seems capable of. This time there's also a snuggling little Alex, too, though, cuddled up tight underneath her huge muscles and fur! Because of Tasha's sheer size (and, uh, other things), the saberyenas run through beds on a pretty regular basis. They try to keep stepping up the sturdiness and stability, but no furniture can hold up against Tasha for long.
