Weird I got a tamagotchi a few days ago

THEY CAME OUT WITH NEW ONES! YAY FOR V3! *beepbeepbeep* o.o

I had one the day they came out in the UK years and years ago. They were released ON MY BIRTHDAY. My dad queued up at 5AM with a special ticket in front of Toys'R'Us to get one. :3

Yup. They came out with one a year or so ago called Tamagotchi Connection, which had infrared signals built into them so you could communicate with other Tamagotchis for presents, games, and eventually to breed with other ones so that your Tama could have children and continue its family line.

Since then they've released a V2 Tamagotchi Connection, which included points, a shopping feature, and tons of new characters, and just now they released a V3 Tamagotchi Connection with even more characters and online interactivity.

Hehe Yep! I had a Digimon when they first came out, never actually got a Tama... but I like it so far

lol amusing, i've got 4 digital pets of my own, the orginal gigabet, and digimon, and two of the tomigotchi conections, i love them and my family hates the little beeping hellspawn...my mom use to kill my old tomagotchies when we went to school cause she could figure out how to take care of them

I remember when the first tamagotchis cam out. When was it? 1994? But I never had one... Instead I had a cheap knock-off I got for £1. I was the only person in my school with a dragon!

I was poor when they first came out, I had a cheap, knock-off called bow-wow-wow... o_O It was a doggy and I killed it by sleeping in on saturday. Ergh, drove me nuts anyway.

OMG I was the only one who destroyed their incessant beeper and I could play them illegally in-class. In third grade.

Man, I used to like those things so much. I still find'em fun, but I haven't had one in like 3 or 4 years. Had a digimon one too, and the gameboy pocket tamagotchi game. Good times... good times.
