well still waiting for this big betrayal thing to happen unless I missed it somewhere sadly I see what Luther is coming from. He is in a very delicate position since he is already married and he has to maintain an image in front of his fleet, poor guy and like a fair few here I could see both Luther and Amon being together should Amon become a free man which from what I understand would require at this point for someone to pay Amon's debt in full . Amon learning to read that would prove mightyl helpfull in future maybe he could review his contract and spot a loop hole he did not notice before.
