Was doodling with my lady over @ Mangamasters. At first I was doing some fluffy tailed, cute, snuggly little image then thought to myself, "...hey Mayhem...how's bout' no" and drew something that was closer to my heart- a cool lookin' comicy styled beastly alien-type dude thingy!
Then I thought to myself, "..hey Mayhem.. da' hell is this thing yelling at? You gonna' fill in the space or what?" So I drew a guy....
Then I thought to myself, "..hey Mayhem.. why is the alien-dude yellin' at the guy for?!" So I doodled a cup o' Joe in his large (yet delicate) hands!
YEAH! THIS is how I doodle random crap when I have no real direction or purpose other than having fun!

Right? It's like the best work just comes from absolutely nowhere... We all need more moments like that.
Direction or a purpose is good for a piece when you have an objective.. but I think, most of the time, letting your mind wander on screen (or on a sketchpad [whatever your medium of choice is]) can really surprise you.
