I love that unlike the original male turtles, they have actual physical differences that make them identifiable beyond their lines or headband color.

Yeah, that's what I first liked about Chochi's designs too!

The original males all had the same headband, but differing belts.

The classic turtles actually had different skin color, as well, at least in the comics.

... and the new series, which these /63/s are base off of, they gave them all physical traits, like Raph's cracked shell, and Donnie's bucked teeth.

I posted this on Cho's pic, but felt I had to share it here. This is making me think of a fic I started -- never finished -- in which there were four Turtle GIRLS (no rule 63ed guys), who were counterparts for the four guys. Essentially, they had similar atributes to the guys, save they had slightly skewed traits and skill-sets from the originals.

Their names were taken from Greek goddesses; Athena, the leader (Leo), Artemis, the tomboy (Raph), Thetis, the grease monkey (Don) and Aphrodite, the hopeless romantic (Mike).
