Just a quick personal picture I did for myself before I wade into all my commissions. I have been trying to make it a point to draw a picture that isn't comic or commission more often. But we shall see how that pans out!
One of my (many) weaknesses is adoptables. I love oggling the various designs folks come up with and in the times I manage to scrape a few dollars that doesn't go to rent or food, odds are I'm gonna buy one. Not that I really have a hard time designing my own characters, but really I find adopts fun. And handy in the event I need to grab a quick background character for things.
As for this lil fellow, he's a creature called a corvis and I adopted him from a fabulous peep named
don-neko.
His name is Jericho, and he's a fairly decent fellow. Some consider him a devout wandering priest, others consider him a blasphemous scam artist. It isn't that his magic and miracles aren't real...it's just that he full well knows his powers aren't coming from the gods like folks want to believe. But he knows claiming the powers are his will just get a religious mob after him. So he's content to humbly claim his powers of the gods blessings...and reap the gratitude and offerings of the villages he visits.
One day when I finally get around to doing my non-DMFA story, he'll likely be making a better presence.
