Alright, I admit it.
I like My Little Pony. It's so... nostalgic. Even now I regret all those mid '90's garage sales that were just CRAMMED with ponies, to the degree that they were everywhere; a neon plastic-horse plague. It was like... it was like the Internet in 2011. Ponies were EVERYWHERE, everyone had too many, people were getting sick of seeing them, so I figured I had plenty of time to get some for myself eventually.
But then they were gone.
Like most fads of the 1980's, the plastic ponies faded away and some of us kids even forgot all about them.
Fast-forward years later, to when I discovered the joys of eBay! I now have a pretty solid collection of 1980's and 90's ponies, and I'll also admit I have a soft spot for the new toy line as well.
Perhaps making my personal effects into pony merchandise has gone far enough, though. The coffee from this mug is always especially delicious. Probably because the cheap plastic is leaching things into my drink :D
