I don't draw enough raichu, and they're part of the chu family D:
This may be my best raichu I'll admit, especially considering my last one was drawn two months ago and my raichu anatomy was still questionable. I attempted a new raichu style altogether with softer colors, a rounder face, and blue eyes this time. It looks shiny here too, and I kept the bg simple so the focus is on the raichu. I did try a new style of clouds too, using a continuous, poofy looking one instead of smaller, less fluffier ones. I like this raichu though, I hate to say but it looks almost good enough for a dressup, if people think so. I'll have to vector one and the clothes, and that'll be painful but worth it I think.
VERY willing to receive crits and comments on the raichu pose, anatomy and whatever else. I am very appreciative of them! ^_^
Took 1 1/2 hours to sketch, color and shade everything in Photoshop.

It's a little different from the official raichu, some folks from DA complained about the shape of the head, but I made it like that to match the style I'm used to drawing pikachus and pichus. I can't quite decide on the clouds, eh I guess it depends on the situation.
Thanks bro for your detailed comments! ^_^

I liked very much the coloring on this one, the shiny on the Raichu was a great idea.
As you said, you did a Raichu resembling your style and I understand, your style is cute looking and thus you made a cute Raichu.
Some critiques:
1.-There's one thing that bothers me, the V shaped lines on his hands, are they fingers? if they are, then why the front hand has a finger wrong positioned? I mean, in the opposite side of the palm of the hand.
2.-Both legs are good in proportion but they aren't well positioned, the back leg should be positioned more to the back (I mean, move it vertically a bit upwards)
3.-The middle right of the W shape in the mouth is perfect, but the other middle is not good looking acording to the perspective, it should be smaller compared to the other half.
4.-The left eyes was drawn too small, sure, try making it a lil bit bigger
That's all, all other things are just perfect the way they are. ^_^ b
I really don't like to critique that much because I know most artists really don't like their errors to be shown, and even less in public.
Also there's the matter that everyones sees the drawing way different from the others and thus the discussions start.
Also, there's the fact that almost always there's much more to say about mistakes than when someone does a great job.
I really don't like to critique with many words and give a simple "good job" comment on a work that is done correctly.
Anytime you want me to stop my critiques I will happily agree.

It's okay to give me crits Digi, my raichus are very lacking in my gallery and would like to become better at it, I can try to make an update to this one if you like to see if my corrected version looks okay ^^
Thank you for the crits though, they're always appreciated and is better than simply telling me I did a great job, because otherwise I may never improve ^^;
