I know you're not going to agree with me on this, but I never really liked vinyl. In my opinion vinyl is too warm for my tastes and has too much bass and has a grainy, scratchy sounding treble and it sounds distorted to my ears. I prefer the cleanness and accuracy of digital audio as it add absolutely no extra noise (if done correctly) and has a perfect flat sound that accurately plays back better than the human ear can possibly hear. Human ears at their most extreme top condition can only hear frequencies up to 20khz. CD's can, with 100% accuracy play frequency's all the way up to 22khz which no living human being can hear AT ALL, ever. I myself can't hear anything above 18khz. Also CD's are capable of a wider dynamic range than vinyl. See http://wiki.hydrogenaudio.org/index.....hs_%28Vinyl%29
Sorry, I'm just really passionate when it comes to audio. I have my headphones (Sony MDR-XB500) perfectly equalized by using this guide http://www.head-fi.org/t/413900/how.....nes-a-tutorial and ever since doing it, FLAC sounds damn amazing now.

Lots of my music is impossible to find digitally! (Such as Future Girl by The Fashion)
And in my opinion analogue is always better, Digital is not 'real sound' it's a representation on what the sound is like whereas analogue sound is a physical waveform cut into plastic or put onto tape.

Well, that's true about your music being in analog formats only. Believe it or not digital audio can perfectly store the exact analogue waveform despite the common misconception due to the sampling rates involved. Open a flac or wav file in an audio editor and you will see a perfectly preserved analogue waveform within it. But in the end I guess we all have different preferences and different reasons for what we like. Thank you for at least listening to my reasons why I prefer a different format. The last time I stated an opinion about a format, they instantly started arguing about it. He thought that there was no difference between mp3 and WAV/FLAC.
