ust finished this lovely guy. I was given a huge amount of artistic freedom with him, I was just asked to create a rabbit creature that had black eyes, a tail and natural rabbit colours! I sketched up and discussed the rabbit shaman with the commissioner and he got the go-ahead.
His story is part of the commissioners world of rabbit creatures. He is over 1200 years old and has been roaming the land almost since its creation. He is very grounded and passionate, eccentric and enthusiastic and very in tune with the earth and plants around him. He loves getting down in the mud with insects and is less interested in the larger beings like birds and mammals. He doesn’t actively seek out company but doesn’t avoid it either. He is a nomad, constantly travelling, so the kit he carries with him must be light or important. Plants and feathers get woven into his mane, heavier but important items are put in his moleskin satchel.
He does like to hoard things though, so little lecks filled with trinkets can be found stashed in hollow trees and under rocks all over the land.
As yet he doesn’t have a name.
He is approximately 10" tall with a wire based armature. His ears are suede coloured with chalks, fur is fake rabbit and cuddlesoft that has been airbrushed with acrylics. The carrots are transparent cernit coloured with chalks. He is lightly posable but is meant more for display.

Hehe this guy is more of an art piece too, he was made with a wire armature and clay hands so he is a bit more delicate than the others. Faster and cheaper to make though, I am thinking of making a few different woodland anthro creatures with similar stories and putting them in my Etsy shop.
