Dislikes hugs?

Cacti arn't really known for huggability.

And with a name like "Disaster", who'd want a hug from him? But that's not why. Hugs tend to come from fighting types Seismic Tossing him around like a Geman suplexing someone.

Disaster: Hmph. Fighting types are a pain in the ass.... Luckily, a single Nasty Plot'd Giga Drain is enough to send them scurrying to their pathetic masters.

Oh yes, definitely. I didn't want to use my actual Cacturne's set, but rather one that wasn't hyper-broken. And I chose one that fit the character VERY well. Giga Drain, to drain the life force of the fools he attacks, Sucker Punch when they're caught off-guard and about to attack, Needle Arm for the signature attack, and finally Nasty Plot, for the sheer fear of watching this desert killer think of disastrous ways to destroy you.

I'm still working on move sets for my own tornent team.
What's your Cacturns' actual move set? I don't see many people sporting Grass types very often; which is a shame because you can create such great team players with the huge range of status inflictions.

Status nowadays boils down to poisoning from Toxic (Which nearly every Pokemon can learn) and paralysis, and electric holds the vast majority of para-inflicting moves out there. As for my actual Cacturne's set? Drain Punch, Seed Bomb, Sucker Punch and Swords Dance with an Adamant nature and a Bright Powder in Tyranitar's beautiful sandstorms.

Although, with the banning of Sand Veil in many many many areas, I'm forced to run Water Absorb instead. Which I don't really mind, I'd just prefer to run it, honestly.

Nice move set, though I tend to go a little more crazy when I crate move sets for Pokemon.
Particularly when it comes to egg moves. I put Curse on a Lickylicky with a maxed out Return and paired it with a Drapion with Accupressure, both EV trained. Shocked quite a few people.
It's a shame they banned Sand Storm, although it was being a bit over used in my eyes.

Sand Storm isn't banned, and if anything would be overused, it'd be rain. Drizzle Politoed is getting too much usage out there. Luckily though, Drizzle+Swift Swim is banned. It makes it easier to destroy rain teams.

Whoops, I meant to say Sand Veil. I hope they don't do the same for the hail version too.
Yeah, Rain is very over used. It's probably because most water types are pretty bulky.
I still see sand storm pretty often though, and they almost always run a Tyranatar with it.

That's because Tyraniboa is still OU. Hippowdon has dropped to UU thanks to the many rain teams out there. And if I remember right, all evasion boosting items and abilities were banned. At least in Pokemon Showdown. Which reminds me, I've been having this idea for a rain team for a while and I wanna try it out.
