I'm surprised they even know about the so-called Ewok Genocide, or whatever people call it. I don't pay much attention to Star Wars outside of the movies and certain video games. But I read something about that on Wookieepedia about how the Ewoks probably went extinct because of the Death Star debris, but that it's a hotly debated theory. At least it was, last I read about it. Wookieepedia is amazing. I love it. I don't have to read any boring books. :D

Yeah, a friend of mine told me about that, but I'm sure the Rebels could evacuate at least enough of them to keep the population going. They had all those capital ships on hand after all.

Why wouldn't they? Would they really have that much trouble moving a small race of halfling, oh, anywhere? I'm not sure I buy that anyway. There's imminant danger of planetary destruction due to interstellar debris and the rebels and ewoks alike are partying like it's 1999.

You're not a total geek. If you were, you would have wondered how a sand speeder got on the Death Star, and how the Ewok could even use it out in space.

The way I saw it, he's on the Forest Moon of Endor (why doesn't the moon have a name, anyway?) in a Tatooine land speeder, and the "boom" part was in reference to the theory of the Death Star debris destroying all the Ewoks, or drastically altering the moon's ecosystem, thus slowly killing the Ewoks anyway.

But, now that you mention it, I guess it does sound more like a reference to escaping the fiery explosion of the second Death Star. I was more focused on the fact that it's a ground vehicle, so he must be on the ground.

Man, I was a geek with my toys. I had some Primal Rage ones and GI Joes, and I made Triassic Fair.

The GI-Joes won, because the only primal rage ones I had were Sauron and Diablo. :P

The Ewoks deserved it. For all those senseless Stormtrooper deaths and their whole trying to eat sentient beings thing. They're savage little fuzzballs that should've been blasted from that rock.

Needs more AT-ATs Drake, though the Dewback does go someway to redeem.

OMG one of my pet peevs with Star Wars canon, I wish Lucas would just thumbs up or thumbs down it, as of yet there's nothing in the canon saying they went extinct is there? Ewoks will live on! Even if only in a Hutt's Harem.
