I almost completely forgot I had this sketch. Better late then never I suppose!
This was another commission from Vancoufur 2013. I really enjoyed
od's style and just couldn't resist grabbing a sketch. I had been playing a lot of the new fire emblem on my 3DS when I had picked up this sketch. It felt so good to get back in to it after such a long time. [I only had ever played Sacred stones before awakening]
I decided to play in Classic mode, which essentially means if one of my units dies they're dead for good, and if I want them back I'll have to restart the whole level. Needless to say this can lead to much swearing, and raging at my DS when you know....Everything seems cool and fine, but then motherfucking swordsman, succeeds on a god damn 5% chance to crit!! Killing Gaius, fucking fuck! Well that's a half hour of my life down the drain! Wasted!! Son of a bi....*Ahem* but I digress. Fire emblem inspired the whole idea for this picture. :3
I love me some fire emblem though, even if I decided to torture myself on classic mode. I guess I'm a sucker for punishment. If you like strategy games you should really pick it up, it is so much fun and highly addictive. Also! You should check out OD he has some really cool art, and a really nice style!

Aaah, I knew before I even read the description that it was about Fire Emblem.
I've had a unit miss on a 90% hit chance twice in a row... this is especially impressive because the recent Fire Emblem games use a bell curving system that means each of those rolls had a 98% chance of hitting (you can read more about it here: http://www.serenesforest.net/general/truehit.html )
