Good gods, all those dots for the coins... almost as bad as making illustrated chainmail!

The coins were pretty fun to do, actually. Figuring out how to dot them so the pattern wasn't too uniform, but also not "too random" or blobby, and with a good spread of color variation....

Lmao, I find stuff like that soooo tedious... :D Though, chainmail illustration is my all-time bane. Oh, lawd.

Oh, it;s definitely tedious! I wanted to make sure they didn't look half-assed, though, since I know she'll be putting it on her wall. xD It took awhile to do, but I hope it's worth the wait for her!

I really love the overall lighting here! The subtle shining on the dragon's scales give it a really nice texture. And of course I love that expression, like he's ready to eviscerate anyone who tries to take some treasure. :3 Also I hope this doesn't sound too random, but I really like the placement of the dragon's right wing in the back. It really makes sense and helps frame the face more!

Ah, I'm glad! I wanted to give his wings a big of a different angle/position than at rest or totally unfurled.
Oddly, my favorite thing about this piece is the gold pieces. They look even better in print!
