A small panel from page 2 of one of the side arcs I'm doing right now for www.pholph.com . Just a shot of Vinci turning around and confronting someone in a rather coy manner. Actually I think it turned out a little TOO coy, because he looks a bit like he's got the bedroom eyes goin' on :)
It looks funny to me because he never usually looks like this. It's like a gorilla or a pug trying to pull off sexy.. It just Doesn't Work. :) At least I don't think so...
Anywho, I hope you will check out the comics. :)

We all remember the age-old-solid-gold disclaimer strip about the extent of Vinci's feminity ;3
And for all I know, there just might be people who find gorillas or pugs extremely attractive - and not all of these people are pugs or gorillas ;3
The point is that even the overwhelming gauge-shattering degree of Vinci's adorability and aww-da-cuteness does not cancel out the sexiness potential of his image. Besides, pixie eyelashes are love ;3

I actually really like the expression! It looks less 'bedroom eyes' to me than like a transitory state between thoughtful and perturbed -- the sort of expression you end up with when you take someone's picture without warning them. The mouth's already well on the way to frowning but the eyes haven't quite caught up yet. Suits the character and the situation very well. ^^
