
Unfortunately upon my visit to Glover #4 I didn't have a tape measure to take notes on some of Glover #4's proportions. The locomotive is quite small and has some tiny drive wheels. I really liked how this shot came out and thus deemed it worth posting.

Interesting that they didn't go with a conventional Strap Brass for the main rod bearing. One bolt, tapered I would presume, but still that's putting a lot of faith in that single bolt to hold up against the trust forces especially when the bearing starts to wear out of true.
Early Heislers built by Stearns Mfg Co used almost the same arrangement. I had to check for lose bolts and slop every single morning.
