For
arinaca, last of the commissions I took on the side recently. Chillin' in the forest together, on what appears to be a misty early morning.
Backgrounds are hard, but I think I fared better with this one than I did the indoor one I did recently. The scan screws things up a bit, but I think it turned out fairly well?
Not a lot to say here, I just hope they like it, and I hope you folks like it too. :3

Glad to hear the colours mentioned- I put a lot of work into balancing between saturated and realistic colours, never trying to go too far in either direction. I try to walk a fine line between colourful without being too cartoony, and realistic without being too bland, and it can be hard sometimes. x3
One thing I can definitely say about your coloring is that it's never difficult to tell what and where everything is. Every object and character is clear and distinct. I think that's something that can get easily lost when artists use digital media and it's also an impressive skill when it comes to watercolors.
It may be a bit of a silly game, but I've always been rather impressed with the artwork in Maple Story. http://fc02.deviantart.net/fs70/f/2.....es-d4626zi.png
I think it's pretty. x3
