Chaotic Frost and Soothing Blaze Commission for Talakestreal
This is a very long overdue creation for a

Her Fursona has changed slightly over time, but the spirit is still the same. This is a part of my Fursona Series of necklaces meant to emulate the bearer’s character in jewelry form.
The main accent is made with a very large piece of quartz with an etched symbol of a white eastern dragon with some very nice details carved in.
She is wrapped in a Crimson died copper wire. I choose this color to represent Trish’s hair.
The wrap design gave me the most trouble due to an idea to recreate the unique symbol on her brow. I believe she stated in a past note that the symbol is that of one used in Chaos magic.
The trinket attached to the base of the stone is that of a piece of silver glass coupled with a small brass bell used to symbolize her Feline like nature.
Upon studying the image in the above link, I felt her character held a very extravagant and complex contrast and that a simple necklace design just wouldn’t suffice. So I tried a interesting design concept that was rather experimental to me.
The beading is meant to represent her wings, and the secondayr threads are to represent her tails. One of fire and the other of Ice.
For this I used various stones and crystals to best match the colors shown in the image.
The Ice wing consists of
-Faceted Amethyst beads
-Faceted dyed blue coral
-Sapphire dyed glass with brass painted beads
-Aqua , Sapphire and Ice Blue colored Swarovski Crystals
-Finalized with .925 Sterling silver bead spacers.
The Fire wing consists of
-Faceted Garnets
-Round Brecciated jasper beads
-Crimson dyed glass beads with brass paint
-Followed by Ruby & Champagne colored Swarovski Crystals
-Ending with Gold bead spacers.
This necklace took some planning especially in creating a sturdy wrap and locating the
appropriately colored stones.
All in all, I enjoy how this came out; I pray its owner enjoys her all the same.
Thank you for this opportunity.

I wish I could pick your brain for wire-wrapping techniques, its a skill I'd really like to be good at. I'm doing these little wire-wrapped faerie dust bottles now but I feel like anything I'm doing with them is really basic and crude and I'd like to do stuff a bit fancier. I suppose though, like anything else, it'll get easier with practice.
