I wish FA had gallery sub-groups as this is quite an abrupt change from cars, oh well. I've pretty much uploaded all the car porn I've made as of yet, so uploading stuff is going to be slower now. While uploading art I noticed one the FA species was 'insect' and that made me think of the Scymanterians, the anthro praying mantis aliens I've been developing.

This is meant to be a serious species, I started it on DA. But I suppose some people on FA might find them attractive so I... guess I don't mind whoring them out a little in that case. <XD

Long ago before they were known as Scymanterians they were mere mantis' almost identical to the praying mantis' we have here on Earth.. possibly even an identical genetic origin! their home planet Marasaisa, a planet of almost entirely green lush forest, was completely devoid of intelligent life outside of a vast animal population. Though eventually over the millennia through natural selection, predatory superiority and other evolutionary factors the first intelligent Scymanterians came to be.

However with the gift of sentience didn't come without a change of heart. Many Scymantera began to disapprove of the rather harsh and brutal rituals that their species had been accustomed to for so long. Things like cannibalism and eating their prey alive began to loose it's charm quickly. This eventually lead to a drastic social change their culture, embraced my many of the members of the race..but not all (we'll get to that later ;).

Great strides were made to try and improve upon their society, in time maybe even redeeming themselves in their own eyes for what is now thought of as an unspeakable and vile existence, one of only animalism, death, and violence.

The Scymentera to date are a highly scientific and philosophical society. Having drive and purpose in ones life is very important, to contribute to society through research and development, artistic expression, using your skills to better the society as a whole is generally viewed as a moral responsibility.
