I was relaxing because the summer heat wasn't trying to cook me alive today, and suddenly I had this sketched out, so I felt I should ink it because of how cute it is.
A little "gem snake". (The white spot on its forehead is a gem, but I dunno how to draw gems; especially without colors.) I think I'm going to continue drawing "gem snakes", because this doodle just turned out so cute in my eyes.
The branch took less time than coloring the black areas.. Wow..
Please be honest. How bad is it?

Thank you. c: Having an exhausting every day life really doesn't add to the drawing mood, when I hardly ever get comments; even from friends. Thank you for making my day!
And to be honest.. I don't know. I was listening to music and first realized I'd done it when I was done and the music ended. Just.. Let it happen. Practise, relax and let it happen. c: Don't force it to happen. But at the same time, don't stop drawing. Make doodles and stuff. Test out the ways of doing it.
The only advice I can give is; no straight lines, make them squiggly, make them randomly, not from one side to the other, thus creating the smaller areas, but don't do it too often or it will look fake. Good luck! c: If you try it, do give me the link if you add it later so I can see how you did. <3
