Obviously, the lower the number, the bigger the guage.

For those of you who don't know, gauging your ear lobe means stretching out a piercing hole. Is it painful? depends on who you ask. As for me, uhh, slightly. more of a burning sensation that goes away after a minute, then a stiffness that lasts for a day or two during the healing. The green one glows under black lights =)

As for the industrial, that did hurt. I thought so anyway. I'd so do it again though!
