It's been a long time, but at last - a day earlier than promised - here is a new full story!
I wrote the original Cleanup Crew during a break between Industrial Zone episodes three years ago. It became the longest of those non-IZ stories, and I really loved writing the team-versus-team games as opposed to one team working together.
I said it was "episode 1" at the time and this sequel must have been started at about the beginning of 2012 or something - it stars some characters I introduced quite recently that I really turned out to love. I hope you enjoy this return!

The moat of gunge and the inflatable set... the influence from Run the Risk is definitely noticeable here, isn't it :) That, and the central vat of slime is pure Get Your Own Back. Having grown up in the nineties, it's now so amazing to me that massive gunge playgrounds like this used to actually be built!
Heh, I wanted readers to want to see Uma gunged since her first appearance - it was great to see it happen on Scani's IZ Live series, and very, very satisfying to write it happening myself :D
Usually I know the games a long time before I write them, and the general outcome of the show - there was no way that Rachel wasn't going in! - but the events in the games themselves sometimes... surprise me a bit. I'm planning to do the next episode entirely on rolls of the dice, though - I have a cast of entirely new characters for it, and currently no idea as to what's going to happen to any of them!

I was just amused how Uma, this being her first time, was not as afraid as her older sister is. Though to be fair I think Rachel and most of the others have only done this once before and it has been years so, I suppose I can give her some credit for that. As you wish, K.
