Nope, I did not over-saturate this picture, the ice really was that blue! I was honestly kind of shocked by how strong the colors were.

Taken from a helicopter of... GAH- I forget the name of the glacier. It's just North-West of the Mendenhall Glacier, which is North-West of Juneau, Alaska.

I couldn't even tell this was taken from that hiegh. It looked so detailed and refined, it looked as if you were taking this photo from the ground... That is stunning.

I know there is no scale, but each one of those ice spires is probably 20-50 feet tall.

blue usually means how old the ice is.
so that must be a few thousand or million of years old
