part of a complete armor I am designing and preparing to build.
the helmet will be made of cuir bouilli (leather hardened by boiling) and will be very much a real helmet.

the persona is a lycanthrope, a humanoid werewolf.

This helmet will need fur-covered ears, and THAT I do not know how to make. The ears will be visible, but largely protected by armor, so them getting beat on is not a major concern. They WILL need to be functional - I need them to channel sound to the ear slots, so I can hear clearly.

I am also considering furring the visor and mandible.

any advice from the fursuiters would be welcome.
