This is a bit of fanart for the book by Kyell Gold, "Waterways". It is an incredibly romantic book that I found myself devouring, only to flip straight back to the first page the next day and read again... and again.

I highly recommend that all the gay readers in the audience pick up a copy! I found the storyline and characters extremely enthralling, and could relate to them on several important levels. This is honestly one of the most important books I've read! :)

On a technical note, for this piece, I really do not like the coloring or background at all. I was tired of working on the piece, and drawing this was emotionally draining for me, so I just scribbled in the colors and background. I am fairly happy with the character line art, though. If someone really wanted, I could probably re-do the coloring to something more appealing, if someone felt strongly about it.

And, of course... feet and paws. ACK! We hates them, yesss.

So, I'm not really happy with how this piece turned out, and it'll probably end up in scraps, but I certainly like the subject matter!
