Omg that is so me when I was little. I had one dr feel so sorry for me that he gave me an ice pack to numb my arm before they drew blood.

oh i hate needles not as bad anymore cause i had a year that i had to get blood drawn every week so i got used to it but i still hate needles

Also, I despise needles as well. I had to get allergy shots when I was little. It sucked and I cried at first, but later I built up a mental callous to resist crying from the pain. Same thing with getting my finger stuck at my yearly physicals. It's all about mental conditioning, man. I still hate getting shots or being stuck with needles up to this day, but if it has to be done, I can take it a hell of a lot better now than I could as a child.

Today, I refuse to give blood at blood drives solely for the reason that I have a significant fear of needles. However, I suppose giving blood over time would reduce my fear of them significantly...
