"Here we are. It’s been a long day of work and “other work” in our crazy life. In the past I was going through it alone, always having to fight to see another day. Now I found my best friend and even, biggest surprise of them all, someone who loves me and I love in return.

But with them I know we are all part of the same world, the one that hunted me down in the past and never accepted me.

People might wonder why I keep on fighting for the world, why I don’t just leave with my best friend and my mate to retire into a simple life all together.

But the reason is obvious to me when I come back home and find those kids. They joined our crazy life, especially mine, and that even without being part of the fights. When I see them, see their smile; spend time with them to tell them stories or just watching a movie or whatever. When I show them the world of magic and see them paying attention to me and loving me even despite what I “supposedly am”… that gives me faith into the world once again.

That makes me want to keep on fighting to see my entire family smile by my side.

Feel their warmth and hear their laugh, see they grow and have a future.

So why do I fight… that’s WHY I keep on the fight.
