One of two pictures I had doodled last month. I quite liked it so I figured I'd quickly slap on some colors. I like how colorful it came out, plus the subject matter. :3
Just two pokemon thought of out of the blue one day. The Dewott has a lemon shaped birthmark and the Mienshao has an apple shaped one. Not much story here. Lemon and Apple could be their names. I'll probably draw them more in the future.
I want to work more with my rendered sytle by adding more ambient and bloom lighting. Also working on rim lighting a bit more. The shadowing is probably a bit too light though. Still, trying to emphasis the roundness and curves of the figures.
