Birds do it right.
The male gender is often the nice gender.

I have to say this picture is very well done and looks great. Yet I must admit another factor about it amuses me deeply.

To a human looking at this, one would think it's crossdressing as it's a male wearing a dress. But to Peafowl and for that matter the vast majority of animals on earth, it actually is the male that makes themselves look pretty and flamboyant to attract a mate, while the females are the ones that are subtle and act casual.

For peafowl this picture is spot on for what should be normal in their sort of society as opposed to humans. I'm surprised I don't see more of this sort of thing in the dragon community. I suppose it's common human mentality affecting us all when we think about it; but why aren't there much in the way of pictures were the drakes make themselves all pretty for the dragonesses?

I suppose I've gone off on a tangent in this, but it lead to a rather enlightening chain of thoughts on the matter. Thanks for that ^.=.^
